Coaching & Supervision
Whether at work or in private life, sometimes challenges and questions arise that are tricky to answer. A coach may help you to find your individual solutions and supports you during the implementation into your daily life. To quote Christopher Rauen: „Coaching always aims to promote (also preventative) self-reflection and self-perception, awareness and responsibility in order to provide help for self-help.“ Coaching may be challenging and at the same time encouraging. It enables personal development and growth, supports you to discover your strengths, to be successful and to lead a good life – in short, to flourish.
Should I decide by listen to my head or my heart? Changes can be pretty scary. Should I really leave? Which job is the right one? Can I dare to make a completely new start? Deciding on something always means ruling out other things. Sometimes there is a chaos of thoughts and feelings that it is simply impossible to sort out on your own. Coaching supports you in making decisions. It can help you sort out your thoughts, better understand and classify your goals, values, needs and emotions and find the right path for you.
Finally, questions arise such as „What do I actually want from life?“ Satisfaction – and happiness – arise when all aspects of existence are taken into account and balanced: body, mind, feelings and soul. Finding the right balance in everyday life, not losing yourself despite all the demands, the stress and lack of time, treating yourself with care – I am happy to support you.
Systemic Coaching
The DGSF defines systemic coaching as „a form of individual process consulting in the professional environment with a broader outlook on the oganization, the role, the function, the person and individual personality. The aim is to reflect on the individual values and personal skills of the client as well as the requirements of the organization and to integrate both individual and organizational goals.“
The systemic approach takes the context of relationships and environment (family, teams, organizations etc.) into account. It means working together at eye level, and focussing on resources, strengths and solutions.
Occasions for coaching may be:
- clarifying personal or professional goals
- resolving conflicts
- accompanying change processes
- developing leadership skills
- strengthening resilience

Supervision
The DGSF defines systemic supervision as „observation and reflection of professional actions and institutional structures. It is always context-related, taking into account the interaction between person, role, function, task and organization.“ Systemic supervision is a professional form of consulting for individuals, teams or groups that attempts to broaden the view to factors that are not normally seen or not evaluated, thereby enabling new solutions. The aim is to expand the possibilities for thinking and acting. Systemic supervision works in a solution- and resource-oriented manner with the aim of strengthening the professional attitude, activating resources and enabling sustainable improvements in the work environment.
As part of a supervision process:
- stressful situations can be reflected,
- conflicts can be resolved,
- collaboration can be improved,
- new solutions can be found,
- professional processes can be analyzed,
- and workflows can be improved.
